Privacy

Your information, plainly.

No cookies, no tracking, nothing sold to anyone. This page says exactly what I collect when you fill in a form, where it goes, and what you can ask me to do with it.

Who I am

This site belongs to Now What Coaching — Kirsty Tornare, an ICF accredited coach in training, based in South Africa. If you have any question about your information, send me a message — or write to kirsty@nowwhatcoach.com — and I'll answer you myself.

What I collect, and only when you give it

Nothing on this site tracks you. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. I only have what you choose to send me: your answers to one of the two forms, or your wheel of life if you decide to send it.

The message form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number and whatever you want to say. Booking a call happens on Calendly rather than here.

The “about me” form asks for that same contact information and then a set of questions about where you are and what you're hoping for: your goals, how you'd describe yourself, what you do, your beliefs, the obstacles you've hit, how you learn, your budget and timeline, and whether there is anyone else in your support team I should coordinate with. Every one of those questions is optional except your name, email and phone number. Share only what you're comfortable with — you can always tell me the rest in person, or not at all.

Some of what you might write there is personal in a deeper way: your beliefs, your health, your relationships. I treat it as such, and the box you tick before sending is your permission for me to keep it and use it to prepare for our work together.

The wheel of life works in your browser. Your scores stay on your device, and the PDF or image you can save is made there too. Nothing is sent unless you tick the box to send your wheel to me — then your name, email, scores, the area you chose and the PDF of your wheel come to me by email, and I keep them the same way as answers from the forms.

Where it goes

When you send a form, the answers are emailed to me at kirsty@nowwhatcoach.com and a copy is emailed to you, so you have your own record. They are not stored on this website. There is no database and no account to log into.

Your “about me” answers also reach me as a PDF, which I save in a private client file on my own computer so I have them to hand while we work together.

A few companies are involved in getting that email to us, and in taking your booking — and only for those purposes:

The site also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google sees the address your connection is using when a page loads. That's the only outside service the page itself contacts.

What I never do

Confidentiality in coaching

What we talk about in a session stays between us. I work to the International Coaching Federation's Code of Ethics, which holds me to that. There are two narrow exceptions, and they're the ones every coach and therapist carries: if I believe someone is at serious risk of harm, or if the law requires me to disclose something. If either ever came up, I would tell you.

If I ever wanted to use something from our work — an anonymised example, or a testimonial — I would ask you first, every time, and a no costs you nothing.

How long I keep it

I keep your answers, your client file and our correspondence while we're working together, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back. If we never end up working together, I delete what you sent, including the copy in my files, once it's clear we're not going ahead.

Your say over your information

South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) — and, if you're in Europe, the GDPR — gives you rights over what I hold. In plain terms: you can ask me what I have, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or change your mind about my keeping it. Tell me, or email kirsty@nowwhatcoach.com, and I'll do it and tell you when it's done. You don't need a reason.

If you're ever unhappy with how I've handled your information, you're entitled to complain to South Africa's Information Regulator.

If you're under 18

This site and my coaching are written for adults. If you're younger than 18, please talk to a parent or guardian before you send me anything.

Changes

If I change how any of this works, I'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we're already working together, I'll tell you directly.
